Biography
James Woods known by all as simply 'Woodsy' hit the Pro circuit in 2010 as a rookie and has never looked back. Woodsy is proof you don’t need to be raised in the mountains to make it. Bred in the "Steel city" he is a home grown talent Sheffield and the UK can be proud of.
Woodsy didn’t even see fresh snow for his first 4 years skiing, learning his trade on the dry slopes. Now you find him smashing Slopestyle and Big Air contests around the world. 5x British champion as an amateur just wasn't good enough for Woodsy, he took his first podium at X Games in Slopestyle 2011, fast forward to 2016 and he has back to back World Cup golds, multiple X Games medals and a World Title to his name. Woodsy used to be the dark horse, now he is a thoroughbred you can bet your house on.
